Open Market Energy strives to provide customers with an energy procurement process that is simple, swift, and effective.

Here’s what you can expect when you work with OME:

  • Meet with an OME representative so that we can better understand your business goals. We’ll discuss: Green Energy Requirements, Energy Efficiency Projects, Facility Ownership Goals, etc. We will also uncover the answers to these questions and set achievable goals.
  • Sign an OME Letter of Authority (LOA). Utilities require anyone requesting utility usage must have the proper documented authorization from the customer to access the historical usage data (HUD). This is a non-binding document that only allows OME to request account usage data for the past 12 months.
  • After the LOA is completed, we will examine the HUD for peak loads, usage patterns, and other ancillary fees associated with the account.
  • An OME representative will provide product options with pricing that are optimized for your facility.

Once you determined the energy procurement option meets your goal and budget, we’ll handle the rest! We will enroll and monitor your energy usage while communicating with the suppliers to ensure a seamless transition the supplier of choice. Moving forward, an OME representative will monitor future buying opportunities.
